If 50 is the new 40 ( which, incidently, I sincerely believe it is ) then Autumn can be the new Summer. If we are to believe our Austrailian cousins there should be a fifth season anyway.
In the Garden we have perrennials in bloom alongside the leaf fall and bedding plants still flowering with berries on the shrubs so why not look on the brighter side of climate change and keep eating delicious Spot Loggins Ice Cream.
The children are making the most of the sunny weather,
as, indeed, are the animals......
The ploughing has gone along smoothly and we are now spreading our 'organic fertiliser.'
But we wouldn't be true farmers if we didn't have a quiet moan about the lack of rain!
Good news on the ice cream.....Ginger is back or at least will be this week. All the usual flavours are here for the winter - Cherry & Kirsch, Irish Cream, Bewitching Berry and Festive Figgy Pudding and new for this year....Bread Pudding
Lastly, our apologies to our new customers who have not appeared on our suppliers list. This is due to a technical hitch beyond our control but will hopefully be repaired soon.
